Setup instructions and answers to common questions about EasyCare Family.
Start on the caregiver’s phone
Choose Caregiver view
Open EasyCare Family on your own phone, choose Caregiver view and follow the setup.
Send the family invitation
Invite the Apple account used on the user’s iPad. Each person keeps their own Apple account.
Continue on the user’s iPad
Choose User view and complete the setup. Open the invitation from Mail or Messages on that iPad.
How do I open settings on the user’s iPad?
On the app’s home screen, hold the day or time at the top for two seconds. Enter the optional settings code if enabled.
Why are updates sometimes delayed?
Updates and alerts depend on internet access, permissions and the state of each device. Check the connection and data timestamps. Missing information does not prove that an activity did not happen.
What should I include in beta feedback?
Describe the steps, expected result and actual result, and include the app version, device and language. Remove names, personal measurements and settings codes from screenshots.
